This site is published by me, Bill Krebaum, born and raised in Detroit, Michigan and, in recent decades, resident in Ann Arbor and Ypsilanti, Michigan. I am sometimes known to exercise dry or wry or sly “humor,” so my comments shouldn’t always be taken too seriously. If I write something that strikes you as strange or offensive, there’s a good possibility that it’s just my poor attempt at humor, irony or some such foolery.
Besides my occasional blog posts, I’m also publishing “static” pages that may contain information of long term interest, and will have a somewhat more permanent existence than the blog posts. Look for these in the Menu under “Pages.”
With static pages, I’m gradually adding information, photos and documents related to my original Masonic lodge, Golden Rule Lodge No. 159, F. & A. M. of Michigan. The lodge ceased its independent existence in March, 2017 and is now consolidated with Ann Arbor-Fraternity Lodge No. 262.
If you have photos or documents relating to Golden Rule Lodge that you’d like to share for publication, please be in touch.
Hi Bill, it was a pleasure to meet you last night at the Grotto and I am enjoying your page. I have lots of old photos (digitized) that I would be happy to share with you. And if you would like to share your collection on the lodge googledocs page, let me know and we’ll make the connection (I store mine there and on the files page of the lodge facebook page – I hope you area member of that).
